Probably is a virus in that, anti-unixmad's file database had viruses inside the RARs for playerworlds but they were just .exe .scr or .com files inside the playerworld RAR, all the playerworld file formats are non-binary and can't be executed or virused for that matter so just kind of delete any .exe .scr or .com you find inside a playerworld RAR. All the tools and support applications should be fine though as I collected those myself. I'll update the thread with a warning for that particular RAR as I did scan all of them myself before the creation but my AV must've missed that one. Anyhow, thanks for the heads up and enjoy the file pack :)

Oh it won't contain the original, it'll be all new files so shouldn't be anywhere near as large.

No it wouldn't. All the files are put into one single ISO file and then rarred into multiple parts. If I change even one thing in the ISO and re-rar it it's going to be different. I suppose I could make a new torrent with the original RARs in a subfolder though.

Use IMGBurn (Free tool) to burn to a DVD or you can mount it on a virtual drive in Daemon Tools.
As a last resort (or you just want to get the files out quicksmart) open the ISO with WinRAR and extract them all.

As the info / readme says, it's a 1.0-Pre. I've just been compiling shit and never got around to sorting through it but someone asked me to "just release it" so I obliged. Can probably sort it but someone else will have to re-create my structure and then iso + rar + seed for me as I cbf doing the upload again.

It's always worked fine, for me. I used it instead of a FTP server for a long time. No hassle, quick setup and easy interface. It's especially helpful when you don't want to take a lot of time to set up a way to transfer a certain file.

I wouldn't even attempt it because you need to log into hamachi either with an account they ask you use, or to make a second account of your own, just to have the opportunity of logging in... Most servers don't entice you enough to stay, let alone log in, so if one asks you to bend over backwards just to connect, no thanks.

Daemon Tools is the only ISO mounting app that can emulate IDE too.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that WinRAR can extract from ISOs too so if you really wanted to you could extract the RARs then extract the ISO.

Duh? There .RAR because that makes the file(s) size smaller than a zip (even though I think 7z format is even better). So, yes you have to download ALL of the .RARs but here's an idea!

Go download Winrar
After you install it, download all the .RAR parts on the first page here!
Right click on the first part!
Click on 'Extract files to foldername\

There, all the parts are put into one big folder.

It was annoying and limited. Only worked for players within 8 tiles of you. Quality was decent if there was one person in range, three people it went to a lower quality codec, 5 people or more it went into the "ass" codec where you weren't understandable.

Graal has backwards compability. the latest level-editor can open old zelda levels.

Just can't save 'em, 1.41 client can though. You know, in case you're a masochist.

The 1.41 client can't save them. Try it and open the level up with a hex editor. It will just be a .graal level with a renamed file extension.

Same with all the other v1.* clients.

Yes, but that was just the file-ending. You know, you can save .NW levels as .graal and .zelda aswell, but they'll still be the .nw format.

Beholder you know as well as I, there are a lot of Graal players regular and reborn who want to play babylon, what if you just made it like the veryoldbabylon with some of the newer features and new weapons on them, I saw someone with the newest minimap to generate the overworld. but it can be player ran. meaning, not everybody can have lvl 4 RC of course but what specifics is needed we'll provide, also one of the main points of babylon getting such a high player count at onetime was the Pets, every pet Alexander had made was a success, and I know you could make them even better.

All i'm saying is we need a face like babylon on graal regardless how it comes.

its like 4gb (for me). thats really not zipable unless you want to zip it like 40 times and i dont even think thats possible.
for me:

Contains: 81,801 files, 960 Folders

UHA, Ultra High-Compression Archive, ive seen 11gb's of data compressed down into a 400mb zip...I think you need a rather powerful machine with enough RAM to get that kinda compression ratio..

you can try WinUHA, (I used it to extract the 11gb UHA data archive *was either snes roms or gba roms*)

with that you can compress the graal dvd into a VERY SMALL .UHA file for hosting on a normal place..it would be a single small zip (would have to take everything out of the iso file first)

Well since I can't use that link stowen provided (it's down right now right?), I'll help seed this torrent once I finish it. (estimation of 4 weeks at a .5 kb/s download... it might take a while)

Once I do finish it though I'll keep it up for as much time as I can for others who enjoy torrenting.

It does only contain the 2.1.7.1 and 2.2.2.0 clients.

I opened agret-ugdvd.part01.rar and then 2-24 all say that they are broken when trying to open them. Am I doing something wrong?

you gotta extract, all the parts need to be combine-extracted (the iso inside the archive was split into smaller parts)

you tell winrar to extract part 1 and it should extract from all of em automatically

Thanks for the information. I am still confused. I right click agret-ugdvd.part01.rar and extract files.

Inside Ultimate Graal DVD.iso and Ultimate Graal DVD.nfo. I right click the .iso file and extract to my

Classic Graal folder. I then open the agret-ugdvd.part02.rar and do the same thing and did the same

all the way until agret-ugdvd.part06.rar. I then checked the contents before continuing and all of

them contain the same files. I didn't see a function for combine-extract and it didn't extract them

automatically. I am stuck with no idea what to do. I am new to this and I have never used .iso

or .rar files before. I would really appreciate some help. Thanks.

winrar AUTOcombines, when its parts it looks for and extracts from part02, part03, part04, etc.

.ISO is a CD image, you can use PowerISO to burn it onto CD, mount it onto a virtual drive using Daemon Tools, or extract all contents using winrar or PowerISO.

the zips are not seperate individual "unique" files,

imagine it like a jigsaw puzzle, you gotta put all the pieces together to see the whole thing...

winrar does this automatically when you tell to extract the first one, if you pay attention to the extract window you will notice it extracting from more than 1 rar file. (you dont need to do anything with the other part##.rar files after telling winrar to extract part01.rar)
