Looks alot like classic zelda 3 (even before the tileset). Reminds me of something that would be in hyrule town.

If it's going to be Zelda styled, I'll approve! ;)

Yeah your levels are going to suck for awhile, just try to get the links right and focus on something other than random shit npc's and we'll settle for crude. Demand an instrument script and Beholder's going to slap you around a bit.
Speaking of Zelda style, anybody else ever try that Zelda Classic game maker or whatever it was called, seems like that thing had an unhealthily strong following. 9000 remakes of classic zelda ftw.

It's a remake of Zelda 1, so it's pretty limited in terms of gameplay since Zelda 1 was pretty limited. As far as I know, it's still DOS based as well. The editor itself blows compared to Graal's.

Nah, there's some Zelda 1 specific editor that had a massive following back in the day. It resulted in at least a couple thousand knockoffs, including some worlds with amazing graphics tied to the extremely outdated system. A shame some of those guys didn't discover Graal, they could have done a lot more with it.

Ya, it's called Zelda Classic. It's a remake of Zelda 1. They've done a lot of things with it, but they haven't changed the core gameplay/controls, which are horrible by todays standards. No diagonal movement, sword stabs, instead of swings, and so on. And like I said, the editor sucks.

I think it's time they move on to making a Zelda: Link to the Past Classic... though I doubt their editor would be any better.

Zelda Classic came out like 5 years ago, with a scripting language, and it sucks so hard that the first pong clone made for it was just made a few months ago. That's how weak it is.
I like the classic Zelda 3 feel to it.
